Zakia McAllister is the Founder and Principal Consultant of McAllister Compliance Group, an advisory firm helping organizations strengthen workforce governance, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness — including the responsible adoption of AI into policy and operations.
With over two decades of experience in HR compliance and workforce governance, including managing licensure and eligibility for a workforce of roughly 11,000 employees across more than 160 schools, Zakia brings a practitioner's understanding of what it takes to keep large, complex organizations audit-ready. That experience shapes McAllister Compliance Group's core approach: documentation and accountability mapping, policy engineering (including AI governance), and continuous evidence and audit readiness.
Zakia works with corporate and government clients alike, translating regulatory complexity into practical systems leadership teams can actually run on — turning compliance from a cost center into a strategic advantage.
